Accepting these terms

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They are between you and TO FILL: registered legal name, trading as Genesis Works.

The demonstration projects are concepts, not clients

This is important, so it comes first. The websites shown in the work section are design concepts that we created ourselves to demonstrate what we can build. The brands in them are invented for that purpose. Unless a page says otherwise in plain words, they are not real businesses and they are not our clients. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that any named brand has hired us or endorses us.

The free homepage concept

We offer to design a homepage concept at no charge so you can judge the work before committing. What that means in practice:

• There is no charge and no obligation on either side to continue.
• We may decline a request, and we do not promise a particular turnaround.
• We design it from the materials you send us. You confirm you have the right to send us your logo, photographs and text, and that we may use them to prepare the concept.
• The concept stays our property until a full project is agreed and paid for. You may review it and show it to your colleagues; you may not publish it, sell it, or have someone else build from it.

Anything beyond the concept, including the full website, is covered by a separate written agreement that sets out scope and price before work starts.

Our material

The design, text, code, images and artwork on this site belong to Genesis Works or are used with permission. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or adapt its material for your own or another business without our written permission.

Using the site properly

Please do not attempt to break into the site, disrupt it, scrape it in bulk, or submit anything through the form that is unlawful, misleading or designed to cause harm. We may block access if you do.

Other people's sites and services

This site links to Instagram and, in the demonstration pages, loads files from Google Fonts, cdnjs and jsDelivr. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information on it is complete or current. Descriptions of our service are a summary, not an offer capable of acceptance; the agreement we sign with you governs any project.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data arising from your use of this website.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of TO FILL: country whose law applies, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and it takes effect on TO FILL: effective date. Questions go to genesisworks9@gmail.com.
